This treatment guideline has been the chosen protocol in the more recently published clinical trials, concluding that when acupuncture is used to treat a woman during ovarian stimulation and embryo transfer the blood flow to the uterus and the ovaries is improved as well as the quality of the embryos,besides it favours its implantation in the uterus and it diminishes stress, anxiety and the secondary effects the medication can provoke on the patient.
